My name is Rebecca Champion and although I am new graduate from Dental Hygiene, I have been in the field of dentistry for over 22 years. During this period, it has been my good luck to be employed in different specialty offices with clients of all ages. The variety of these assignments exposed me to many wonderful doctors and the knowledge they were generous enough to share with me, and I learned a great deal from every one of them. In fact, these doctors consistently praised me and encouraged me to return to school which is why I become a dental hygienist.
I am originally from Albuquerque but I have been in Salt Lake City, UT for the last 10 years. In 2009 my family and I moved to Corpus Christi, TX so I could finish up with my degree. I graduated from Del Mar school of Dental Hygiene in May 2011.
After missing the great blue skies and the green chili my family and I decided to come back home to New Mexico in June of 2011.
As a dental hygienist, I would like to build working partnerships among families, schools, and communities to help prevent teeth and gum problems. Teeth are important to everyone’s general well-being and appearance, and it is possible for all of us to preserve healthy teeth throughout our lifetimes and I am love this field because I want to help people with improving their oral health.
